• A celebratory destination for diverse ethnic cultures, the arts and culinary delights. The Jeannette central business district (CBD) sustains its various ethnic heritages with a strong menu of dining options, and arts-related, cultural and food oriented special events.

• An age and family-friendly central business district for people of all ages. The Jeannette CBD works diligently to ensure that it is safe, clean and green and provides a variety both residential and customer amenities.

• A center for local services and goods at affordable prices for local residents. Jeannette is also home to many worship sites providing for the spiritual needs of its residents.

This vision for the Jeannette Central Business District shall be achieved through a strong public, private, non-profit (P3) partnership led by the Jeannette Initiative as the “backbone organization” in close partnership with the City of Jeannette and other community organizations.
