In 2025, we set out to develop a new logo that represents the Initiative’s ongoing revitalization efforts for Jeannette, Pennsylvania.

Our logo embodies the signature themes of a Phoenix, rising into a bold new form.
This represents the ongoing revitalization and rebirth of Jeannette into its beautiful new form, built by our collective, burning passion for a brighter tomorrow.
Honoring Our History
Paying homage to the Glass City’s roots, the swept lines convey a new form taking shape, honoring the historic legacy of Jeannette’s glass manufacturing.
The rich, natural gas deposits in Jeannette once fueled the flames of seven unique glass factories, creating a wide variety of glass exported all across the world.
In our logo, an I-shaped trail of gas rises, giving birth to a flaming right wing. Flame forms the J-shaped blue body and left wing of the Phoenix. Void space is imagined as the panes between the newly formed glass.
